A well powered westbound manifest pulls out of the siding at Elsberry, Missouri. When tripods started to be erected at the end of the siding, I figured we were in for a good catch.

A BNSF freight heads across the Clark Fork at Bridge 57 west of Trout Creek, Montana, at 7:58 a.m. on the morning of May 20, 2011. Leading the train is a new General Electric ES44C4.

After a long wait near Oro Grande, BNSF decided to run some trains. This Westbound lead by the 6617 was the first in a half dozen trains to be seen within the next hour.
